Nowruz Mobarak! 

For the Nowruz Festival on March 20th, the Nowruz Forum Germany sends Nowruz greetings from Nowruz-City Hamburg to wherever Nowruz is celebrated in the world.

We would have loved to have made up for the 10th anniversary of our Nowruz Economic and Nowruz Cultural Forum this year and celebrated it accordingly, while intensifying economic, scientific and cultural bridge-building.

An anniversary without personal encounters, without direct exchange, without a handshake project, however, does not correspond to our idea. 

But especially in these difficult times of the global pandemic, people need hope. Hope for a new beginning and solidarity. And this is exactly what the world's most widespread and colorful New Year and Spring Festival NOWRUZ stands for. 

All the greater is our thanks to all those who support our idea, even in times of crisis, to strengthen the Nowruz Bridge from Hamburg - with over 170,000 Nowruz celebrants, Nowruz City No. 1 in the European Union - into the Nowruz countries. 

Thank you very much for sending you the greetings 2021 from politics, diplomacy, administration, business and culture and we hope you enjoy reading in our chronicle 2021.

The „Nowruz Forum Germany“ and the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Berlin for the Nowruz countries representatives cordially invite to the 5th „Nowruz Wirtschafts-Forum“ on Wednesday, 20 April from 10.00 am to 6.30 pm at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski in Hamburg.

Following the 3,000 year old Persian New Year celebration “Nowruz” (in English: new start), decision makers from diplomacy, politics, economics and sciences from Germany as well as the ambassadors and other representatives of the countries celebrating Nowruz will come together to deepen mutual understanding as well as to establish economic and commercial cooperation between the Orient and Occident. Against the backdrop of the new economic situation in Iran, the forum will be focussing on the challenges and opportunities offered in this country and the surrounding region with a market of more than 400 million consumers.

On the eve of the forum, 19 April from 6 pm to 9 pm, government representatives from Tajikistan and other Nowruz countries, members of the diplomatic corps and public officials from Northern Germany will celebrate the Nowruz fest as beatup event on occasion frame of the “25th Day of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan” a splendid gala evening with Tajik culture.
